Should
wish everyone a Happy New Year. But how to do it when I write about Israel and Palestine? I find it banal and is a painful subject. It is inevitable in the beginning of this year, referring to the Middle East crisis. I say inevitable, because any human being should shudder at the images coming out of Gaza. And then there is the question. Why Israel can carry out such action and do not cause a unanimous reaction of the international community? The answer is obviously in economic power. 
however, would not remain objective in this analysis. Therefore, the next question is why has it done? And here we must also recognize that the information reaching us are very mediated. Palestine Will not fire missiles? Does the Israeli deaths are different? It's a war. And as such is unfair, destructive and utterly wrong in all their actions. But I'm reluctant to see some good and some bad. It is not indefinite. It condemns double. I am sure that both sides offer us even humanitarian reasons that would support military action. And let ourselves be convinced by such unworthy motives would be wrong. International public opinion is the objective of the propaganda of the contenders. And naturally seeks to take advantage by either side. And that is another mistake, because the international community can not take sides in this conflict, but to mediate it, even coercively. But then, as so often, just extending the condemnation of the U.S. that is preventing the impartial mediation and reappear and economic interests. Today, we see no end to such a sad story.
